Byron Katie

Would you like to do The Work with Byron Katie?

I'm thrilled that Byron Katie will join me for a virtual parenting event. Read on for details!

Katie has developed a self-inquiry process called The Work, which consists of a series of questions that loosen the grip of stress-producing thoughts and beliefs.

This process allows us to shift our thoughts about what we believe to be true about our lives and relationships.

I have used The Work personally for over 20 years and featured it in my book, Parenting Without Power Struggles because it can so radically shift some of the painful thoughts that precipitate conflict with our children.

In this special session, we'll invite 2-3 parents to join Katie in addressing their own parenting challenges using The Work.

Would you like to be considered to join Byron Katie and me on screen to explore an issue about your own kids? Read on for more information below.

And if you'd simply like to watch and learn from this session, keep an eye on your inbox for class registration instructions, coming soon!

Byron Katie has been bringing The Work to millions of people for more than thirty years. In 1986, at the bottom of a ten-year spiral into depression and self-loathing, Byron Katie woke up one morning in a state of joy. She realized that when she believed her stressful thoughts, she suffered, but that when she questioned them, she didn’t suffer. Her simple yet powerful process of self-inquiry, which she calls The Work, consists of four questions and the turnaround, which is a way of experiencing the opposite of what you believe. Her books include the bestselling Loving What Is, I Need Your Love - Is That True?, A Thousand Names for Joy, and A Mind at Home with Itself.
